On Saturday September 27, all special stages will be on asphalt. Gravel part is saved for Sunday and will include some of the all-time Acropolis rally stages.
For those of you planning to attend the rally, I am giving you some ideas on what to do other than following the race itself.
Grab the opportunity to visit Vagonetto. All special stages are at a short distance from the Park. You can't miss it. Signs are absolutely everywhere. It will be wise to make a call and reserve time for your tour (phone 22650-78819). Remember that Vagonetto is open from 9 to 5, year-round.There are a number of hotels and places to choose from. Obviously Itea is everyone's choice as the start and finish and the park ferme are there. You may want to consider the sea-side Galaxidi, the mountainous Delfi and or Arachova. Eptalofos and Polydroso are also to be preferred by those of you looking at a more adventurous angle.

I should not forget to mention Archontiko in Itea. This pastry shop is out of this world.
