After so many friends asking me to write on Vagonetto, I finally decided to create this post.
The first thing that everyone wants to know, is what on heavenly earth is Vagonetto. It is the one and only Theme Park in Greece, one of the most spectacular places to visit in all of Europe.
Cutting edge technology amplified by the dramatic surrounding of an underground mine, reveals the process of extracting bauxite. And for those of you wondering what bauxite is and why is it of any importance, then let me tell you that from this red looking rock we produce aluminum.Vagonetto has become an all year-round destination for tourists and Greeks. The proximity to Arachova and Delphi makes it an ideal opportunity for those of you who want to have fun and do something different.
The prefecture of Fokida-this is where Vagonetto is to be found-offers a unique combination of mountainous and sea-side activities. Where else is to be found a famous ski resort at some 30 minutes drive from the sea side?
